The Flying Man
Leon, once a prominent professor, but now suffering from depression as a result of a personal tragedy, finds himself lying on the bathroom floor. In an attempt to understand why he is unable to move (is it the drugs, is he asleep and dreaming?), Leon's thoughts progress through different times, places and events in his life until the identity of The Flying Man is revealed and he is allowed to accept the impact that choice and doubt have made on his life.
The Flying Man touches on the evolution of the soul through the human mind and explores philosophical questions around existence, reality and immortality.
Here is what some editors had to say about it...
"...The Flying Man is an intriguing and thought-provoking novel, with different layers of meaning that give the story depth and richness. It is a shining example of good craftsmanship..." WRITERS' SERVICES
"...The Flying Man is an extraordinary book that cannot fail to leave an impression in the mind of the reader (...) it is in a different league in terms of artistic merit, combining philosophy with an almost Milton-esque sense of falling from grace (...). The Flying Man is small, but perfectly formed..." WRITING.CO.UK
